|
|
This seems to be a popular request on these boards, I'm already guilty of doing it a few months back...
Here we go:
I'm after any stuff to do with Mamod or MSS Garden Railway, specifically:
Any parts of a loco
Any knackered locos that people don't want
(with both of the above, I'll be happy with rusted, siezed parts etc)
Rolling stock
Track, straight and curved
Wheels (pref 32mm if still on axle)
Ideally I want someone who has a rusted loco that they can't be bothered to fix or restore, if so I'll be glad to take it off their hands!
PM me with anything you may want to sell,,, _________________ Worrying the populace since '82' |

We haggled, joked and fought on a mountain top over the price and finally it's mine! And all for the loss of a leg and all movement in my right ear. Not a bad transaction _________________ Worrying the populace since '82' |

And since it's a small model, wouldn't that make it a 'Pipette truck'? _________________ Worrying the populace since '82' |

There's a lot of demand for old Mamod Loco's, I think half the fun is being able to tinker with them and make them run well. PPS Steam Models were selling some used locos for the same price as a new MMS Loco, obviously sight unseen and with no warranty either!
At all the engineering shows there's always a stand with lots of old mamod stuff all selling for about the same price as a new mms with the upgrade parts fitted! |
