|
|
My new rolling stock arrived today, and it is a lovely evening here so I got the SL1 (Arthur) out and attached all my rolling stock.
In order they are a coal wagon (filled with some wood chips for now), a log wagon (both new today), a flat wagon carry planks, another log wagon with home made logs, and a guards van.
Sadly the blinking batteries went flat in the camera after just a few seconds!
But I think Arthur did fairly well.
(towards the end I am kneeling down to get a shot of it passing me, but then the batteries died!) _________________ Chris

Nice one Chris!
apparently the mamod loco in the factory was pulling 9 open wagons. Much to the amazement of the Wilesco owner (stupid idiot) _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

I think on a perfect flat line mine could pull 9 open wagons, the home made loads on mine are quite heavy, and the guards van is very heavy.
I guess the factory one would also be running on solid fuel with standard safety valve.
I need to set up a flatter area of track outside, but that is going to be a while yet. _________________ Chris

No seriously I feel embarrassed for him! Telling everyone it wouldn't work and it did....Also going to lookaround the mamod factory as a potential "buyer" with no intention of buying just stealing ideas! _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode
