A couple of years ago when I was at Amberley's model show, a man had a table filled with hot air engines. Although the best was one that was a record player powered by a hot air engine

I think I saw that yesterday.
I want a hot air engine but they generally go for more than steam engines and I have only so much money.....

That's a very nice engine Casey! I'm surprised at how well it drives the workshop... very impressive. Seeing that has inspired me to have another go at getting my reluctant Stirling engine to to run!

yes, it is a nice little engine to look at, as well as a good little runner! But, I figured with the money I will get for it will bring me much more happiness finishing a high performace go-kart project as well as having some money left other to start other projects!

Cheers,
Casey

no, actually they are quite small! It takes a few seconds to accelerate up to normal speed when running my Jensen #100 workshop!

Cheers,
Casey

Hello,

Sorry about this folks, but ebay pulled the auction early for "title spamming" because at the end of the title I put, "not live steam"....
GRRRR !! oh well.

I have re-listed it and here is the current link:

Cheers,
Casey

Funny they always seem to remove auctions for title spamming whose title is actually providing useful information but leave the ones that are actual spam.

Happened to me recently Tony. Keyword spamming they called it.

I used two trade names in my title, but moire importantly I used the word Like

Ie xxxx like xxxxx, apparently a no no.

If I had left out the like word it would be OK. Mad
