Does anyone fancy this. It's a Bing Engine O gauge and dates from about 1906. It comes with a couple of Buffer stops from the same period and a very sweet little man.
First the Buffer Stops. Not much to say. One in good condition and the other is missing its back.
Then the little man. I guess the date for him maybe right (ish) and he looks good with the engine but I think he is not German and I think he is maybe a Milkman made by the firm Britains (I could be wrong).
Anyway the engine. Very good condition. Should all work and very nice. This is 100 years old and seems excellent. From what I can tell, only 2 problems.
Firstly the numbers on one of the cabsides has been touched up by a 3 year old in a blindfold. Not sure what to do about that but if I was keeping this, I think I'd rather have nothing on the cabside.
And the second problem is the burner. Id guess this is not the original and it needs some attention on it to make it work. It does fit but the pipe was made in two parts and has a small crack on the seam. Should be easy enough to repair.
Other than that a very nice buy. If no one wants it, I think it will be going on ebay. Anyone interested, send me a pm.

Congrats Tony.
I'm really glad it's gone to one of our forum.
Great stuff Manx, and thanks for offering it here first. _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream
