I think it should be possible. But you would need new axles and wheels. It isn't just the case of undoing an few bolts and moving the wheels along the axles.
MSS rolling stock which is the same as the Mamod stuff can be bought in either gauge. _________________ Chris

Oh, right, I was talking about the older Mamod rolling stock, the new MSS stuff is the same as that.
I don't know about the new Mamod rolling stock, which is bigger and uglier, and very expensive. _________________ Chris

I was watching the goods van, but I won't be bidding. I have enough rolling stock for now, and want to save for upgrade bits for the locos. _________________ Chris

Hi Tony,
As has already been mentioned, MSS provide the rolling stock in Gauge O & Gauge 1.
The following photo shows from Left to Right, a Gauge O wheel set, a Gauge 1 wheel set, and a Gauge 1 loco wheel set (both axles).
Mamod had a Loco conversion kit for Gauge 1 (this was just the Gauge 1 wheel sets plus some gaskets), and the cylinders were spaced out by using 2 gaskets on each side of the frames.
I have 3 pairs of Gauge 1 wagon wheelsets, plus at least one pair of Loco Gauge 1 wheelsets if you are interested.
Both the Loco Conversion Kit and wheelsets are available from Chasteam.

Thanks Chris,
I've converted my loco to guage 1 so I am aware how you to do that but wasnt sure if you can convert the wagons and it appears the older ones you can.
How much do you want for the wagon guage 1 wheel sets?
If your spare guage 1 loco wheel sets are the spoked ones I may be interested in them aswell depending on how much you want for them. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Yes, the Gauge 1 Loco wheel sets are the standard wobbly Mamod ones!
