Here we are at last- powered the triphammer with a non german engine- my first Jensen, a fiddled with 35 meths powered, runs really smoothly.
Unfortuneately I had wet feet as the trough is not meant for holding water, I only found this out after filling it up

I wish it held water though.
Are you going to try and seal it up to run with water? |

Thanks Nick and Les, i have just taken delivery of a late BW Bing triphammer and theres some leather padding on the base of the hammers- probably a good tip
I am tempted to seal it, i would be thinking to use a small polythene bag as a more temporary thing. its a but fiddly to get silicon in, and all 4 sides and the whole base leaks  |

I have a Fleischmann one on the way that looks just like this one.
I hope it holds water.
If not, I will seal it up.  |
