Is the seller smoking something or are those worth that much?

Expensive but very old, very rare and unused. Probably as important to a collector as the rusty mamod twin a couple of months back.

So that's the deal. It's as rare as they get and even better in pristine condition. Thanks.

Geez for that price I hope the seller didn't make the buyer still pay for postage.

I like the old scalextric cars but not that much.

In perfect condition though thats for sure.

Interesting comparison with the MM twin.  The seller has a lot of feedback, so likely to be what he says it is.

Has certainly attracted a lot of people to that auction- 5257 views

I do hope this isnt the trend for  our unusual engines-  sure seems like it might be given recent prices

If you thought we steamers had to pay a lot, wait until you see what the tin toy boys pay for their hobby!

Hi Moose,

I know it's a nice piece -

Yes, point taken, I would like a 1920's Marklin Liner, if lotto supplied the cash.

I must confess to be a bit concerned about trends, the general market seams unstable at the moment. Whilst Bowman is totally silly.

Cheers

H2o
