In Australia we like to do things in style.
Have a look at this photo and then read the description below.
I was emailed this photo today by a college and below is a quote from his email. This photo was taken on Australia Day
'Fireworks, Lightning, Sunset, a Comet, and the greatest of Aussie icons, the Beach all in one image.
In addition to the obvious features in the photo, look between the two
displays of lighting up the sky to see the third - McNaught's Comet.
The photo was taken just north of Hillary's Marina, which you can see the harbour wall on the left with fireworks being launched.

Wish I could say I took it but I was in my car coming home from a call out to work when this was happening.
I had lightning in front of me and the Perth fireworks in my rear view mirror and the Hillary's fireworks in my left passenger mirror.
As a stock photo that one is worth gold

What an awesome photo.
It was interesting to see that comet. I saw it a few times here, and at a decent time (just after sunset).
Unlike when I was 10, getting dragged out of bed to look at Haleys comet at some stupid hour, and it was just a dot in the sky.
