Sorry for the OT post, but has anyone else been having trouble with youtube videos in the most recent version of firefox?
On two machines now mine will play for about 3 seconds, no sound, and then stop. If the video loads completely I can seek around in it - sometimes - but it just stops again after running for a few seconds..
Internet Exploder, in contrast, works fine...
Reinstalled flash plugin and rebooted, and it still refuses to work in firefox.. _________________

JUST found this post! Sorry......
Linux/ Firefox here.
Videos play perfectly during my morning sessions 7.00 - 9.00.
Evening time. Forget it!
Exactly the same as your problems, plus, it locks up the computer.
Screen turns grey, and the only way out of it is to shut down via main switch. _________________ David...... Widgets R us. |

Active X is the problem 99% of the time, proprietary Microsoft. Now there is Silverlight which is to make many sites not usable to many. Microsoft doesnt own the Internet _________________ Non Impedite Raditioni Cogitationis |
