These should come in useful for my next creation - maybe grafting the crane onto an SP5 with a chain driven power take off? 
Will be putting a few of them intothis little fella . . .

Looks good Mike! the bottom two look almost identical (if not) to an SE2 countershaft? 
I agree with the SP5 crane. You could definatly lift a lot with that

Maybe it's something Darren should look for? as his SE2 is missing one .
those cogs do indeed look interesting Mike! you can have a lot of fun tinkering around with them .

I had the same problem when I went to put a bigger pulley on my SE3  so I had to abandon it for the time being........

These are the cogs, gears and pulleys ect. that I got this morning.
I'm well pleased with all the brasswork.

Wow, great stuff guys.
Love all the cogs and pulleys. Come in very handy with steam as Mike's shown.
Pity the stuff is so dear in OZ.
Well may get all my stuff tomorrow, at the earliest.
More likely Monday though

Really??? So an SE3 flywheel won't fit a meccano axle?
Wonder how if others do?
I just looked at my lineshaft and assumed it's pulleys and flywheel would fit meccano axles, but haven't tried it. Esp when the lineshaft box mentions meccano.
Thought the lineshaft pulleys were larger than a SE3 pulley too, but they are same size diam wise, not sure for axle fitting though.
Hmmm, might have to check this out, as I was going to order a Mamod flywheel for my meccano.
Don't really want to have to buy a Meccano repro flywheel, too dear

Ill check this evening Wallace. I can drill out one of the sprockets - the shaft must be the same diameter as the MEC1. |
