I use mine in the bath. Need to watch out where the hot end goes if your sat in there as well!

Used to run mine on the local boating pond. Got some funny looks when setting it up, what with melting the candle wax in the burner tray with a lighter then putting bits of string in the wax. Found out later that another area of the park was used by Drug users, which explained the funny looks

thanks guys a bigger pond would be great!!! however we have very severe WATER RESTRICTIONS  here and is why its taken so long to come up with a way of showing them. they stole the show yesterday and were a great hit and was running in a "pond " of only two litres!!! of water. we would love to put up a childs paddling pool but in public?????? safety??? possible fine for waste of water???? the risks were too great to take for a public show. liz and i intend to paint the "pond" and display as "boat rides" in our fairground.
