Hi all,
It's 7am here and I've been up for an hour already.
I've got a fault for work I need to fix that is some 600km east of Kalgoorlie and for those that don't know that puts me in the middle of the Nullabor Plain.
I will be following the train line so that means a gravel track so by the time I get home I will of driven about 2500km and about 1200km of them on gravel roads.
No where to stay on the Nullabor so I will be sleeping in a swag in one of our regen huts.
See you all on Sunday night. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Have a safe trip Tony, BTW Nullabor means little/no trees and ain't that the truth. The area Tony is going to also contains the longest length of straight railway track in the world, over 400km, .
Cheers

Got a photo of that (No not the whole 400km, just the sign) as well as a few other intersting pictures, was a long haul.
In total to get out there was nearly 18 hours drive for a total of 10 minutes work.
Last 150 km the track doesn't really exist so I was restricted to 20 to 40km an hour. Didn't help that we had to do that bit after dark either.
But job was safely done and we only got one flat during the whole trip with 2 4WDs and a trailer. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm
