I stumbled upon this earlier. It's a shame it's in Japanese but if you go through the pages you'll see that the chap is a very accomplished modeller!

for those that remember my two osscilating engines, this is the site I found the method of marking the ports out on.  Lots of useful diagrams and pics, even if you can't read the writing.

Wish I could read Japanese as there are some very interesting photos of them building engines and boilers and ceramic burners.

Have you tried an on-line translator. I use this one for German- English but it will do Japanese-English as well.

Yes true although they produce something that is almost English
