Having bought this, and steamed it only the once, and it hasn't really floated my boat.

Having realised I really need a largish trailer to move stuff around for the restoration of my full size steam roller, I think this has gotta go for a contribution towards the 'trailer fund'.

Sencible offers via PM - Better photos on request.

A UK 240V electric #55G. - Twin cylindered double acting engine with stephensons reversing valve gear, 3 inch electrically heated boiler, 6V generator with lamps stand.

No need to tell you guys what this is. Apparently the build is limited to 18 a year worldwide. I don't suppose many get to the UK.

Its fairly new, though I don't know how old, certainly less tha 5 years old, was supplied via Forest Classics (with the Black firebox).

I bought it a while ago off e-bay, turns out from the daughter of a deceased collector who had bought it new.

Good points -
Runs like a dream,
Never seen an engine rev so fast,
Everything works.
Plug it straight into the mains, no transformer required. This is a UK voltage engine (see photo)

Bab points -
Generator works, but not to its full potential, it lights the bulb, but not very brightly. My guess is a good clean would sort it.
The boiler sight glass weaps slightly, it really wants a couple of gaskets, new ones are buttons from Forest Classics.
No box

Better photos on request, here are some low res ones.

I certainly prefer that style of flywheel to the newest ones with the rounded-off corners and ultra-bright plating.

The black firebox goes well with the dark base too.
