Can't help you personally, but there's usually a couple used model 75/25 on ebay at any given time.

Hi Jensendude and welcome to the forum.

Are you a Jensen collector, starting collector or just an admirer. They are my favorite brand, but exposure to this forum will open your eyes like it did mine that other makers put out some fascinating stuff.

cheers,
Roger

Several people here are real good at finding the "hidden" Ebay auctions, keep your Eye on the Ebay sections and who know, you might get a deal.

thx for the replys, ebay will work, I went to a Steam show and seen this collector with over 10 jensen steam engines, #5 #25 #60 #65 #70 #75 #85 #95g and he was assembling #76
I watched those little engines run ferris wheels, pumps, homeade flashlight generators powering a little electric train set, i fell in love with the 75, the man let my work the wistle throttle and the reverse lever, i am a starting collector, when i was 8 i was also introduced to the jensens, i remeber playing with a few but i forget wich models they were, thanks again

Kirk

Good luck with your collection, I don't personally own any Jensens (yet) but we have a number of Jensen owners here that can help you out should you need advice on Jensens and 'Welcome to the Forum'

The 75 is a fantastic engine to start with. My first Jensen was a 25 (the electric version of the 75). Blows the pants off of my Wilesco stuff in terms of power and quality of manufacture (if not in fancy features).

There are always some classic engines on ebay. Model 5, model 35 overtype, and the iron base 25 are all relatively commonly seen models, and they're great runners.

Welcome to the forums jensendude, I too like the jensens very much. The jensen 75 will be a good model to work with. Problem is you must have very deep pocekts or plenty of time to save up money.
