I think that's an old product number, so must be an old engine, I see you problem,  I'd like to know which engine that is too.

These are the only model numbers on their website.

http://www.krick-modell.de/frameset.html

Click on Produkte, then Schiffsdampfmaschinen and it will bring up their engines.

Hi,

Krick went through basically three different phases on their marine steam plants.

The first was designed from Wilesco parts (vertical boiler and two cylinder in line engine) these were sold for the Patricia wich is unfortunately long out of production.

The next were the cheddar plants that are no longer avaialble. Unfortunately I'm not sure who is the manufacturer of the current range of steam plants could be Regner to judge by the cylinders.

From the order number I would think that this could be one of the Cheddar models but AFAIK they did not came as a real kit but only nets to be plumbed.

Well i have found out it is an early one for the alexandra and patricia featuring twin vertical wilesco cylinders and a vertical unclad boiler. Not the model i really wanted but how are these for performance anyway?

yep thats the model, i received an email with a picture of the kit with the same wilesco cylinders and boiler about 10 mins ago. I have to admit i think it looks pretty nice in the boat however i see it got removed eventually. What size of boat would this be suited to i had my eye on a river launch with a beam of 7.5" and length of 41" would this do or would it be to underpowerd?

I don't think it would be underpowered, so long as you had a good boiler putting it though its paces. I don't know how good that boiler is....Mo will know.
