I have just made a low loader for my TE1A for my next show, I steamed the TE1A on it and it has a nice "rock" to it, my original intention was for the Wilesco Roller to put it, but it won't have anywhere to run at Amberley!

tomorrow, as I'm doing everything tomorrow:

1) Take roller to have that screw put in
2) Make out a postal order, all will be revealed at a later date
3) Purchase plastic basin for pop pop boat for show
4) " really cheap kettle for show
5) Purchase storage box for spare Meccano parts to actually build something whilst at show, to provide added interest
6) Write up various signs for show e.g., history of models and warning signs...

Hi MTA.

Flipping through some POP POP boat sites I saw someone had cut a car tyre in half to run their boat. ie, cut parallel to the tread, if you get what I mean. Seems a good idea. Should allow boat to run in circles

I do know what you mean Wallace, but I think a Plastic sink basin would be alot cheaper, plus I think my mum wouldn't be very appreciative of carrying a car tyre in her car along with god knows lese how much in the car!

Good point about carting it around in the car.

I will, I went last year, but not as an exhibitor, and I wasn't a volunteer at the museum then, but thats where the idea was first mooted Also, Polar Bear does night running, so expect some pics This one of the two shows I do each year, but I wish to go to the Chichester Show at the end of October with the CDSME. The other major show I go to is at the Old Kiln museum, Tilford, Nr. Farnham. Free meths or solid fuel, plus water Although its a one dayer, so its a bit far for most...
