Not really... If Macs were actually more powerful than a stick of celery then I may consider buying one (no I won't)

Just too expensive, what average family can spend 2 grand on a desktop computer?. They have outpriced themselve and they don't have anyone to blame but themselves

I wonder if people were put off Mac at a young age.

When I was about 17 and 18 (my HSC year at high school) we got all new computers at school, in the form of MAC's. I can't recall exact type, but they were like a tower, bit wider, with a inbuilt black and white screen with a 3.5" disk drive built it.

Then we got 1, PC, that had to be shared, and best of all, had the internet. This was in 1993, 1994.

I never wanted to touch a MAC after that.

Well I've only ever worked with a computer. However, my friend had this awful Mac, it was like a tower and had a monochrome screen. That was enough to put me off!

Plus a Mac would have been no use at all! considering a high percentage of jobs require people to know and work with Access and Excel etc....
