Hi all!
I attended the Maitland Steamfest in NSW, Australia last month (18th-20th April). It is was mainly for locos and trains (not so much my thing), but there was also some live stationaries and traction engines. Most of the traction engines are USA and Uk built. Sorry, no description or labels. My youngest daughter helpfully threw out the notes for me.
I took some pics of these, as well as some other agricultural engines.
They also had a hall of model engines - mainly electric locos, diecast and tinplate cars, trucks, roller etc. No live steam! Next year I will have to consider taking my mamod collection along.
See the pics

We have in Perth every year Railfest at the railway museum but as you can guess with a name like that its only really to do with trains. They fire up one of the steam locos but thats it.
As far as I'm aware we have nothing like that in Perth.
If someone knows of any steam festivals in Perth WA please let me know.
Some interesting photos there Stitch _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Thanks for the pics stitch.
I wanted to go this year, but time didn't allow for it.
But it's on the list for next year. Only about 1.5hrs from me.
Sorry I missed it. _________________
