I'm going to list my Mamod SL2 buffers and beams on ebay OZ soon but if anyone has a spare meths burner in good condition to swap for them I would be up for it.
The condition is I would pay pstage for the buffers and you would pay postage for the meths burner.
If anyone is interested I will post some pics up. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Its a little bit scruffy but would probably clean up with a bit of steal wool.
Yes thats fine as long as the base is meths tight and it works.
I cant believe that it would cost 22 pounds to buy 4 buffers and 2 beams from PPS. They aren't that fancy
I'll go get them and take a photo and put itup for you MM _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/ozsteam/index.htm

Ok cheers Tony
I know they are expensive for some reason must take a lot of work to turn up on a lathe. IVe already bought a full set and some from MTA, I'm turning into the buffer man _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

The buffers may be hard to make but I think the beams are over priced.
2 Mamod buffer beams cost new 6 pounds
My two Lady Anne Buffer beams which are made out of brass not steel and have been painted cost me only 5.96 pounds (VAT free) so would cost you 7 pounds 1 pound more than Mamod ones.
Have a look at the photo and judge for yourself.
