Bought this off ebay a bit back:

Well, I got it the day I came out of hospital. What a horrible thing to come home to

Seized solid, flywheel loose on the crankshaft, base bent like a banana, feet on the base bent up, rusted to hell, soldered over the exhaust hole, chimney bent in, safety valve stuck in, paint all peeling off.

Ahh! A nightmare!

Well the process of single handedly (get it? ) stripping this wreck down and painting will start tomorrow. I think dad might take it to work and do a bit for me.

I have already sold this engine to a member on the forums.

Will be an interesting resto...

Well looking on the bright side you can't possibly make it worse than it is.

Good luck.

Best stock up on wet and dry paper then, there is lots of rust to remove

Aye, I'll probably do something towards it. Maybe a bit of spraying. Painting is one of my best points.

You don't need two hands to spray paint
