Ok, I've added a bit more to the workshop so i've put up a new thread in the "Meccano" section of the site.

Before:

3 lineshafts, two running in the same direction, and one running to the side. I needed a few things changing for when I get the rest of the tools so here's what I've done to it now

After:

I've pretty much doubled the size of the original lineshaft from the engine. It's now about 12" so it spans across the whole engine . It's actually a lot sturdier, and frees up some room for more tools!!

Here's a picture showing the way I attached the A frame to the base.

Large wheel added above the secondary lineshaft, which basically now makes it 4 lineshafts. This one is built especially for the hammer. It rotates slowly which I hope will create a nice "drop" effect with the power hammer. Will be on the look out for one, so let me know if you see one anywhere. The large green wheel isn't that straight but does the job well enough

Finally the whole machine in one picture:

Future plans include the following:

Countershaft
Polisher, Grinder, Hammer

Any suggestions welcome was thinking abouit a Willesco saw, but then came to my senses

I robbed some off my TE1a's SM and conveniently, maybe a little too convenient they were exactly the right length

I think the one powering the power press thingy is one from a lineshaft

Sometimes you just have to SM

Thankfully I've gained enough Mamod stuff to have a few spares lying around
