Cane today with the post
Fresh from britain, now agan in germany
(although i believe this loco was made for the english market)
See pics, this is as it is now.
Nor sure what i am going to do.
First of all i have to get that safetyvalve off, it seems it is calcified
At the moment i am just taking off the pistons for a small cleaning (also the inner of the cylinders)
Burner is present.
But it seems someone lost the original filling plug, so he took the pot of the burner's tank off and made a new top with a new screw...doesn't look good, but seems to be leak-proof, so maybe I'll leave it....

This loco was made from 1913 till 1934
But due to some small details i would put this one into the 1910's- 1920's _________________ ....."Remember: It's Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con"..... |

NO REPAINING ON THIS ONE
Only thing that will be fixed is the missing bufer, the oilecups and the exhaust pipes (they are gone, but they should jead up into the chimney)
EDIT: cleaned it all with WD40 and it looks way better now
Pics will follow _________________ ....."Remember: It's Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con"..... |

Just wait a few minutes, I'll make new photos of how it looks now, after the "oil-bath" _________________ ....."Remember: It's Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con"..... |

... good job, Mirko! Perhaps some touching-ups of the black parts, boiler and so. The red areas are fine, especially the railroad emblem looks nice after cleaning. Would be impossible to restore that.
A wonderful loco, congrats, mate! _________________ Says Tom

Of course,
but oiling the engine and the paint is only for taking off all the dust left + refreshing the paint.
After that i wept all oil left off _________________ ....."Remember: It's Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con"..... |
