How the hell did I not win this boat.

http://cgi.ebay.com/FANTAIL-LAUNC...418QQcategoryZ19166QQcmdZViewItem

It was at $250 right up to two seconds before closing.

It isn't RC.  The mahogany decking is unique and beautiful, but the whole kit doesn't cost much over $169.00 on most websites excluding RC.

I thought I had this one in the bag.

Maybe I'll just buy the kit.  I have enough mahogany planking left over from the Elliot Bay to achieve the same effect.

Was hoping to save the time for the big one though

I think that is a clear case of 'biddiots' striking again.

Sniping seems to be the way to go on some auctions, I have a snipe in place for tonight. Wish me luck.

If you buy and make the kit, you can then transfer engines across if funds are tight.
Although I have a Fantail Launch, personnally I would go for the Kick 'Anna', as it is larger and you can go for an engine which will give you forwards and backwards.
