Steam Launch Miranda (58 Inches Long) - FOR SALE £500
This is an unfinished project which needs a dedicated steam boat enthusiast to complete and bring her to life.
I have inherited this boat, which has been built to a very high standard. The only work I have done is giving the hull a coat of yacht varnish to protect her from any stains while she’s been in storage.
The main hull is plank on frame complete with fibre glass internal lining to keep her water tight and give additional strength.
Rudder and propeller shaft have been fitted.
The Boat is based on the Miranda Plans with modification to allow a bigger seating area at the bow, with the forward housing removed. (There is no reason why you could make up & fit a forward housing if you so wish).
As can be seen from photo’s the bulk of the work has been done and just needs the internal & deck fittings to really finish her off. This steam launch I’m sure would make a wonderful show boat once complete with a suitable steam engine and radio control.
I would prefer collection due to size.

Out of my league plus I would have to carry it up and down a flight of stairs every time I used it and would cause too much damage. _________________ Les - Nolo Servile Capistrum

Just let you know my e-mail address is:
j.raine@virgin.net
I am open to offers?
I would recommend pick up if any body is interested, location is Tyne & Wear Sunderland.
I could arrange delivery & packaging at cost, if your willing to take risk of any damage in transit.

Seems like I might over priced this
So I'm revising the price and would consider any offers of around the £300 pound mark.
I would rather give our members first choice before I consider putting her on e-bay.
