|
|
Here are some of my Meccano Models.
I built these all a while ago before I had any engines some none of them are powered.
Yes the dark green is not meccano green.
I got a heap of meccano real cheap that the paint was nackered on and as I only got it to 'play' with was not bothered about spending heaps of money to get the correct green so used the closest I could get from my local hardware store which is not very close.
The fire truck is a set 5 model, the middle car a set 4model ,and the little one set 2.
You can just see in the background the start of my Eifel Tower super model.

Still have to buy some of the rarer meccano for it. |
are you building a full size replica, 2 years?
should be worth it in the end though! _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

Yeah they are Mike
Occasionally they pop up on ebay, for silly money.
Best thing is to look at job lots, and count the holes to see if they are 24inch girders.
That's how I've found some _________________

I'll try and scan it in tomorrow night and post it as its too late to do it now as my scanner is 6 years old and has issues with Windoze XP which requires me to turn it on before booting up my PC and as it 11:30pm now I cant be bothered rebooting my PC.
ANy particular models you are interested?
I have lots of plans for everything from set 1 to set 10 super models of all sorts of things.
I've already posted my best fairground rides for conversion to steam but have lots of simpler ones.
Just for a taster here is a set 5 traction engine just a bit simpler than the set 10 one I posted a while ago.
