I really don't want to ring the company direct and order one, reason being it costs loads, and I know full well I'll be on ages

So I'm after an old chimney for a #35 if anyone has one!

If you do, please PM me!

Cheers
James

James, if you can't locate a Jensen chimney of the older, straight wall type...make one.  Just find a piece of aluminum tubing with the following dimensions:

11/16 inch inside diameter (18 mm)
4 inch long (100 mm)

Once cut, flare one end (top) using a ball peen hammer.  I like to put the ball end on the chimney with chimney sitting on a block of wood.  THEN (with safety glasses on)...I hit the flat part of the ball peen hammer with a second hammer...repeated small blows til the chimney flares just enough..

I found the perfect tubing in an extendable snow scraper thing meant for cleaning ice/snow from car windows...got like 6 or 7 such chimney out of one section!!!  When done, polish well until it shines like nickel.  I understand expensive cigars were sold in aluminum tubes that are likewise a perfect fit.

Just get creative!

Rog

You can walk with a wooden leg,

You can chew with false teeth,

But you can't see with a glass eye,

Wear eye protection.

That won't matter when you're blind, you won't be able to see your beautiful home.

At least I will be able to sneak in and get the Fleischmann without you seeing me.

LOL!

I just had a bit of a shock! Literally!!

I fired the 35, and it leaked round the sight glass so I couldn't.

So out comes the 70

Only steamed it once before.

It got going, I kicked the cable where it joins the engine cable to the transformer, and it crackled and sparked like buggery

I were like um shit

Be careful James.

I would take it apart and fix it before you fire it anymore.
