I can't log onto my album in Photobucket - each time I try to log on a new request comes up requiring my user name and password again. So I got photobucket to send me a copy of my password incase I had got it wrong - of course it was correct.  I even tried creating a new user name and password, it allowed me to do so but wouldn't let me into the album section.

Photbucket is approved in yahoo, as the domain key symbol comes up so it looks like  I've blocked the cookies inadvertedly - I checked the banned list but photobucket isn't on it - so does anyone what the photobucket cooky code (or what ever it is called) is so I can reinstate them.

Any help would be appreciated, as I can't put up any pics on the forum.

Cheers

Chris

Just had a thought, have you tried to do a System Restore to the day before it stopped working?

Cheers

Chris

Have you deleted all the cookies from your browser and tried again?
I have had a problem like your having before and it turned out the server that checked my username and password had crashed.
This was with my ISP not photonucket but the same thing could be happening to you.
Give it a few hours and if you still have problems then it could be to do with your PC.

I tried several times again, and again I could not log in, as it kept asking me for the password and user name.  I'm pretty sure it's because I disabled the cookies.

There are literally 100's of cookies that I have marked disabled, I would prefer to just re-enable the appropriate one(s) if I can. If not possible a step by step for dummies how to empty them all out would be appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

When you say you have disabled cookies is this with your firewall or browser and what browser are you using?

Sounds like it is a cookie problem.  In the meantime you can use tiny pic.

www.tinypic.com

That is all I use.  I think it is owned by photobucket, but no login or password.  You will never find the image again, but I have mostly found that i don't tend to care. *grin*

Thanks everyone, problem solved, when I went into the privacy section of IE6 I found an edit button and it listed all the web sites I'd been on including photobucket, and it allowed me to restore just PB without emptying the cache etc.

I logged onto PB and it worked, yeah,

Cheers
