|
|
If I print more than one page on my printer, it asks, after each page, to turn paper over and put it back into the printer, to print the other side of it.
It's only just started doing it, and I don't know why.
It's annoying as I can't set it to print 10pages, then leave it. I have to sit there, and keep hitting ok.
Does anyone know how I can change it?
If I go through contol panel, printers and faxes, and right click my printer and choose properties, it lists double sided as a feature of my printer (along with color, ppm rate etc.) I can't change anything there, and if I go to printer preferences and look at paper source, auto sheet feeder is chosen
Apart from hitting it, does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Cheers joiner.
I was just about to do that, but I actually tried the help file
Seems it calls it "duplex priniting" there
So if it happens to anyone, go into printer properties, printing preferences and click on page setup tab.
Make sure duplex printing box is not "ticked".
Glad I found it, as it's a handy feature to have if doing a booklet. _________________

What are you printing from Wallace - Word or something? - if so check in the print dailoug box you have not set it up for duplex/double sided, also check in the advanced print properites dialogue box. If it from a browser there is possibly some feature you have clicked on in the associated print dialogue box there too.
Failing that you may need to reinstall the print driver as Joiner has suggested. Since your using Windows you may have unistall the old one first. |

Hi Wallace
I have a little sideline that requires me to print lists.
The one that catches me out is if I don't select reverse order, I have to sort out every list to get the pages in order.
Damned nuisance. (And I still forget) _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream
