I am not trying to compete here today as I have seen many very competitive and wonderful
offerings, all absolutely great. I know it was a tremendous amount of fun to put these fine displays together.
Today I offer up one engine only, filmed today.
Most of you have seen it before and today you will get some new views and video.
The legendary JENSEN #51 Powerstation !!!
Photos and video's to follow soon.

I have not seen this before, I think it incredibly wonderful but I am wondering what the motor and gear on the pole are for? _________________ Les - Nolo Servile Capistrum

Les, the DC motor represents an electric powered saw and is used to demonstrate the AC/DC generator and control panel that are part of this machine. The lamp is run on AC current from the same generator.

My video uploads are going extremely slow, I assume due to high volume on photobucket or
on my cable network isp. Will post when available. Thank you for your patience.

Here are some fresh films.
Before starting I left the throttle wide open during warm up which allows enough steam
to go through the cylinder to get it real hot and eliminate the problem of water
lock up so when I coaxed the wheel it took right off.
Shot from behind and on the wrong side of the sun for my camera.
The oscillating needle on the water hight guage tells me the
boiler feed water pump is working just fine.
The last of the boiler make up water is pumped from the
tank on top of the tower.
The water level drops to 0 inches as the pump draws
what was left down the stand pipe.
The blow down allows me to put it away clean and dry.

I saw that very same engine in person, and it still takes my breath away.
