I have ordered an sp6 from forest classics

Well, I for one will not be ridiculing you - I agree with MM. I don't have any of the SP series in my collection but the SP6 is one that I would like to have. _________________ Regards

Go for it Lewis, no one will poke fun at you.
Everyone is entitled to buy what they want.
Are you going to get the special edition one or the Mamod liveried one? _________________ Make time to take a step back, and appreciate what you already have. |

Surely you don't have as low an opinion as that of us Lew.
I hope you really enjoy your new buy.
That doesn't mean others might have an opinion that differs from yours on the quality of your new aquisition. If that's so then they are free to express it.
Nothing personal or no slight to you Lew. _________________ Ouch! Where's the burn cream

It looks suprisingly good from what I saw of a picture somewhere. We were talking earlier about it and thought it might be better if you drilled the rivets and replaced them with brass headed bolts and nuts, make it look a bit nicer!
It will be a good addition to the collection Lewis! Good luck to you _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

im just shocked how fickle that sounded. i am backing you all the way, and i was thinking of buying one, but eaving because people dont like an engine
dont get stressed, but you said "well i dont know how anyone can says its crap till they have lived it". you havent tried an old wilesco, but you hate them.
im not moaning BTW

To be fair a lot of people have "bashed" new mamods on here without trying them, my limo is a 2002 model and there is no difference from the original 80's release _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

Yeah I think they aren't too bad......just a far cry from the older ones, but aren't all the makes? Wilesco, mamod etc etc? _________________ Solid Fuel tablets explode

I don't know what all the previous goings on was about in regard to the SP6 but I'd be very interested in your opinion Lewis. I've got all the SP series except for the SP4, which I can buy at any time, and was thinking about getting an SP6 from Phil or Chas.
It would be interesting to see how you think it stacks up againt the other Mamods like the SE3.
It's like whether to repaint or not, everyone has thier own opinions and we should value and respect each members opinions.
Cheers
