parents arent to happy about this pile of bagged up dirt which I will later take to the tip(pile much larger now)
also that bench that you can see came from the NYMR
I spent two days digging that back straight because it I had to dig over 2 feet deep
more photos soon _________________ knowledge is power

Why did you dig down two feet, are you having an underground railway?? _________________ Les - Old age isn't so bad when you consider the alternatives.

fill the trench with ballast and sit the track on it and you have a firm foundation with ample drainage, just like the real ones _________________ burning fingers since 1989! |

most of the railway Im only digging down half a foot but at the back the garden rises very sharply (which you can see in the last pic) I want to avoid any extreme slopes so I have had to dig straight through
just at the back though _________________ knowledge is power

Looks like the perfect setting for a railway.
Now you need to fill the center with a stationary display. |

I am actually a bit worried about the railways safety as our neighbors arent the best in the world in short with have had lit fags rubbish and abuse thrown over our fence not to mention how their 15 year old son who doesnt even live there has turned their garage into a rap studio
the last straw came a couple of days ago as I was digging in the garden a big dirt clog flew over the fence and nearly hit me what they didnt know was that I had a piece of mud about a foot cubed on my spade which I on instinct threw over there fence after which I heard a thump and an ouch since then its been nice and quite but now Im a bit worried they will go for the garden railway as revenge anyone got any advice except get a gun _________________ knowledge is power

your right about that though my mates said it was junk so I took a bit to school and told them that they could each have a go at breaking it and that they could try anything except twisting it cutting it and burning it.
They couldnt break it and each admitted it was tough stuff _________________ knowledge is power
