I'm in a Bus depot in Crawley, I'm the one that will be servicing them when they come in for an MOT

Just don't be like an airline mechanic we had in OZ a number of years back.
After he finished servicing a plane he had nuts and bolts always 'left over' so he threw them out.
When they finally caught him they had to recall every plane he had worked on and fix them.
Needless to say he is no longer an airplane mechanic.

Have fun MTA.
Jumping out of school into work can be a shock to the system. Mainyl hours/start wise.
But it's all good experience
Let us know how you go mate

great! Today we changed a fuel pump on a Dennis Dart, bleddy difficult though, as two bolts that hold it on are in a very difficult place, my supervisor, Ivan (South Amercian I believe), took twenty minutes getting one on with no luck. I got it on in 5 minutes Then I had to go, I wish Work experience will never end

You do, you need your head examined or the rest of the week, I'll just list what I did, if you wish for me to elaborate on certain things, just ask :
Monday:
Dennis Dart in for repair

Fuel pump changed (it took 5 hours, but we did it!)

Tuesday:

Scania bus used on Fastway services in for every 5 weeks check:

Bolt clips removed and replaced
Water pump changed
Brake valve changed (if it's built in Sweden, dont try it!)
Brake disc renewed

when I got on the train to go there, the heart was beating faster and faster, but I find if you meet them before hand, your less nervous when you actually go to work
