“Steamies Travels”
I have decided that from Christmas 2008 “Steamy” will accompanied me on all my trips around the world. Being only 8 cm long, he can sneak in my bag and then suddenly appear in time for his photo opportunity. Then we can record them on this travel log, for the enjoyment of the forum.
So this is the first shot, I thought I would start with the oldest monument I know.
“Steamy” at Stonehenge – England, circa 2500 – 1500 BC (4,500 – 3,500 years old).

Great idea, Steve.
As much as you travel this should be an interesting thread. Can't wait to see him on top of the Burj Dubai! _________________ Richard |

This can be real Interesting, after a certain quantity of locations have been visited, it might be fun to make a new thread free of comments, he says as he adds a comment. _________________ Non Impedite Raditioni Cogitationis |

No stopping him now…
This time Steamy had been to visit the famous HMS Victory of the Royal Navy.
HMS Victory was built between 1759 and 1765, and most famous as Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. She is the oldest naval ship still in commission and she sits in dry dock in Portsmouth, England as a museum ship.

Well even during this cold snap “Steamy” has been travelling. This week he drove through France, Belgium and visited Weert in Holland for the day.
This is a picture taken in Weert yesterday next a typical Dutch Canal. It was minus 4 deg, cold, dull and boring, and defiantly not the best place Steamy will be visiting this year that’s for sure!
