The LW1 arrived today, the box is in very good condition for its age and the only downside is that one of the logs is shorter than the other two.

It must have come from a shorter Styrofoam tree
I have the Wilesco version that came with 1/2 inch wooden dowels, the Styro logs look more realistic. _________________ Non Impedite Raditioni Cogitationis |

Not worms but a knife. _________________ Les - Nolo Servile Capistrum

Les, I don't think they should be identical lengths.
They aren't in "Real Life".
Here's a photo of what I mean.

I know that and you know that but Mamod didn't and made them all the same length. _________________ Les - Nolo Servile Capistrum

Nice additon Les . Mine has all of them the same length and it looks to be of the same era.
I wouldn't worry about it though. I replaced my logs with real ones and packed the foamies away. _________________

I managed to get a second LW1 this week at a good price, the only difference is the colour of the logs and no box this time.

very nice additions there Les!
I like the camera angle to hide the shorter log on the last pic!

I guess that some Styrofoam Trees have darker bark. _________________ Non Impedite Raditioni Cogitationis |
