This is the little lake the Northern Districts Model Boat club uses.
I'd say it is one of the best kept secrets in Perth.

That runs great. What size prop are you using and what are your run times? I have one of the D48 sets and could never get it to run more than five minutes.

You must cool the gas tank down before refuelling. Put the tank in the water for a minute before you refill.
I get up to 15 minutes per run.
If you don't cool the tank it will not fill properly and you will only get about 5 minutes.

Thats why they come up on ebay all the time hardly used.
