Good evening,
here is the pretty DOLL Modell 909 - "The Pumper".
This is the version with the figure made of "Masse" (I do not know the right English word for this).
Please, give me a little help.
Can someone give me the date of preparation of this drivemodel with the figure made of "Masse"? Was that before or after 1938 ??
Thank you very much.

Hi Darthvader,

the German word for Brass is "Messing" - a kind of metal.
Figures made of "Masse" are made from a mixture of sawdust, glue and heat.

In English it is called 'Composition'

No idea of its ages, other than old if it is made that way.

According to Steam Toys by Morton Hirschberg criteria 1930. Nice find. Doll sold out to Fleischmann in 1938.
