Hello,

in addition to my Fleischmann steam engines I also have two Mamod mobiles.

I do not know much about Mamod.
Can someone tell me what years these machines come from?

They are both very nice engines in great condition

The first one is an SR1. It should be 1966.

The other is a TE1a and would be about 1968 - 1971. Others may help if there is a way to narrow it down more

Great pics too

With due respect, IMHO, The Toy Steam website, and MM123's threads in the Library Board, have more models and generally better information.

There are a number of threads linking  the Manstrad roller to Mamod, such as Dauntless' excellent early thread in the Library Board,

http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/about1017.html

And the late Manxman's  excellent thread on the Mamod TE's,

http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/about3699.html

Cheers

Good point and many useful links there. Although the link I posted was of some interest, I had, in fact, intended to post this one:
