I picked this engine up on e bay a couple weeks ago.  I must have been the first person to see the listing because it was a deal I could not pass up.  It was listed as "this engine has never been run"  which ended up being the absolute truth because the engine didn't run.  The valves were a disaster and there was .005 gap between the piston and the cylinder.   I reworked the valve and made a new piston with a gap of .0005   Now it is an engine worthy of any collection.
