This was my favourite out of all the places i visited and it has a lot to see and the beam engine is powered by steam and has to be one of the smallest engine house's i have been in. Sadly the weather wasn't perfect but i think it added to the atmosphere of this special place.
The Whim engine house and remains of the pump house.
Right on the edge of the cliff face.
View from the coastline.
The skip shaft.
There are steps in the rockface (not visible on my photo) where the miners walked down to the shaft before the man engine was installled.
Wales? This is in the county of Cornwall England mate, pretty far from Wales
and Im assuming these served tin mines, Cornwalls famous for its tin mines dotting the coast _________________ Life's to short for the concept of guilty pleasures so like your comics, like your trains and like your ponies!
Yup just chimneys as Pauly says, although there is also Pendeen lighthouse not far away on the next set of cliffs as you can see it on a clear day. _________________ My Website: http://swiftfoxsteamco.webs.com/
