Hello there, thought people might be interested in keeping an eye on the blog a friend and I have set up - it covers all of our projects from toy steam rebuilds, home brewing, general restorations, experiments and anything else we find interesting to do! It's not a very big blog so far, but we have a few pages of interesting write ups and will keep updating as and when things happen!

Mead?

Be careful about that. Might turn out stronger than you expected

Jim

Nice blog!- the drum kit is quite well done-I think all of our "Man Benches" are plagued by the same problems yours is--too many things to do and so little time to do them.

Happy New Year

Thanks Mo! The drum kit was built by my friend - he made a very nice job of it! The Manbench Industries name came from us getting fed up of having to tidy up after ourselves when working on our A-Level projects in school - so the two of us re-arranged some workbenches out of use away from the classroom and kept it in the perfect state of messiness!

Happy New Year to you too!

The blog is still being (relatively) regularly updated. You can read about a model steam workshop, home brewing of mead, the construction of a garden railway, the restoration of a ploughing engine all among other interesting things on just the first page!

Good idea that and well laid out. The only criticism from me is the type of font that your using. Don't know if its just me but it's not very easy on the eye. Perfectly readable but becomes hard work after a while. Just a suggestion.....

Thank you for the advice! The font of all future posts has been changed and I intend to work back through the older posts as and when I get a chance!
