Does anyone up north have a coal fire I could pinch a lump of coal from??? Or even the smaller pieces from the bottom of the store. I want some for my roller but I ain't buying a full bag of coal when I won't use it lol. Just need two dozen small pieces. If all else fails I can make some fake coal but real is best.

Will be placed on the right of the scuttle.

Nip along to any live steam event a scrounge a lump, or a handful of slack, off one of the exhibitors.

Haven't got any coal Jon but got  some spare black aquarium gravel
that I used when I did the Mamod  showmans upgrade if that is of
any use,  happy to pop a bit in a large envelope and post it to you
unless it has to be coal of course

I'll try to remember to bring you a lump to Leeds this weekend. I emptied a load of slag from the mclarens tender last weekend and in reflection should have kept some as it would have saved having to break it up.

Peco do small bags of crushed up coal (for 00 model railways etc) it might be a little small,  but one of their coarser grades might do the job

I was taking down the walls in my basement's "coal room" last night and found this. Getting it to you might be too much though   I think I will save it for when I am lucky enough to own a ride-on Case someday...

Nice lump of coal, indeed when you have one of those maxitrak ride on traction engines you'll be good for some coal
