I think that I can safely say that, with the arrival of my new boat, I have everything I want for the moment
All my recent purchases have involved increasing amounts of making......I've gained a lot of inspiration from posts by members such as Bogstandard, Bessytractor and Brasscleaner (and many others), I think my next engine will be a self build.
Speaking of self builds....whatever happened to Chuck "Oldstuff"???? Off topic, so if anyone knows please PM me.

That is the big problem with this hobby, you come to a point where you feel content with what you have, then something nice comes along, and starts an itch.
It can really put a strain on ones self control

With the ever upwards spiral in engine prices I'm more than ever inclined to go for do-it-yourself engines. Good fun too!
