A bit of website help please!Been working on a Freewebs website but have come across a bit of a problem. I have to many different makes of engines for the number of pages you are allowed on Freewebs.
If I put a list of the 27 different makes i own could i have a bit of input about how to classify the makes of engines (ie early British etc) into under 20 pages

3.Bowman
4.Cheddar Models
5.MSS
6.Hobbies
7.Stuart Turner
8.Basset Lowke
9.Marklin
10.Heisler
11.Hornby
12.Doll
13.Fleischmann
14.S.E.L

You could divide them by country but most of them seem to be British or German so it would be somewhat unbalanced.
You could organise them by type - e.g. stationary, TE, roller, loco, etc.
You could sort them by age - that way you could balance them out as you want.
You could move to a different host. I don't know if all freebees have a page limit.
You could give away some of your engines

I'd do countries as Roly suggested
Or maybe British stationarys/mobiles etc

Pre 1950 British Engines
Modern British Engines
German Engines
Other Foreign Engines
Locomotives
Steam Boats
Engineer Built Engines
Scratch Built Engines
Workshops
Accesories
Restorations, homebuilds and modifications

Or you could just use some of the money you are getting off me to pay the money to have unlimited pages.

I could do The thing is i have 4 engines to pay for. I will eventually upgrade to a proper website

Aren't "engineer built" "scratchbuilt" and "homebuilt" all the same thing??!

Well by 'engineer built' i mean Stuart Turner or similar. By 'scratchbuilt' i mean well built from scratch

And homebuild on the restoration pages are things i have done myself ie my D20 generating plant

I think you have the basic idea, it isn t difficult to change if you do not like how you organized it

I had the same problem, the easiest way to sort it was to pay for the extra service of unlimited pages as I think I am upto 29 so far and still not finished.

Yeah just pay for it.
Easiest way to go. Cramming too much on the a page, with pics just makes sites a misery to visit.
