a LARGE engine (not steam)I live fairly close to the Cummins diesel plant in Columbus, Indiana...it is not uncommon to see their equipment coming and going on the highways.Yesterday I saw the largest engine I have ever seen on a wide load carrier...it was almost 2X the height of the average man. Today I read the following story with photo of this enormous engine just unveiled by Cummins. The one I saw was yellow vs. red...but just as big. Because it's so massive and slow, (Max. speed is 120RPM), it doesn't sound like much. Here's a video: Now, that Cummins engine, that would sound great! |
