A new arrival in my CollectionI think of Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies, this one is Mini Fleischmann
It is a Fleischmann 120 viewed with my Fleischmann 122/4
This one came as the result of a three way Ebay transaction, I will have to do some work to it as the Safety Valve is weak, but for an engine from around 1954 I would say that it is in good condition especially when considering that it is fairly light in build.
I did fire it up and it ran like a top, when I held the SV down, it only takes one Esbit tablet. and the boiler empties in little to no time.

Isn't it tiny?!?!?
I haven't even fired either of my 2 up.

I see there are stamped vents, not holes cut in the side.
Mine has the whistle too.

And now where is the other items?

I like that one! Very tiny but nice!
Does not take much space in your shelf

BLoody hell Nick, ease up on the posting a bit
Looks grand John
Is this one a keeper?

That looks grand John, glad it is running ok.
It's also nice that it is complete with burner and chimney.
And is it the original box for it as well??

I t has the original box with the Fleischmann label, instructions, and the little tiny funnel that came with it too.
I am working on freeing up the threads so I can tighten the spring on the safety Valve, when I hold the valve down it runs like a top.
I can post pictures of the other items, but was saving that pleasure for the rightful owners of the respective items.
Richard (Kusuchi) and Les.
I did take pictures so they can post or I can but I think they should have the honors as the items are just visiting here.

Very dinky! Good order too, nice buy.

Look inside the firebox at the boiler bottom, there should be a seam. Does your larger Fleischmann have the same seam?
|
johnreid

Yes there is, I think it is wise to use Esbit as opposed to fashioning a Meths burner for these. I sure would hate to see something happen to the 122/4
Wonder if James' Beast is seamed there also?

cute
My little Fleischmann vertical has a seamed boiler too.
I've been eyeballing this one on ebay

Not bothered to look up the model number yet... I expect it will get rather pricey at the end anyway...

John, that sure is a cutie...the Mini Me analogy is quite apt next to it's HUGE sibling!!

That 130/2 sure looks nice Mark. I wish I could afford it, but not now.
I bet that if and when a 135/2 ever hits US Ebay that a few of us will be bidding on it.
Real nice machines, but not as well built as a Jensen, but nicer than a Wilesco.

That's real nice John.
I'm sure I just saw one on US ebay just earlier, but it was a bit of a wreck.
Going back to look for it now

Yep, I like that as well and another fun addition showing off the full range of toy steam engines.

Ive got one John, nothing like as good nick. I ran it off a bowman burner Likewise didnt run for long- the boiler is rather small.
The paintwork isnt a patch on yours
Can you post the dimensions of the chimney, height and diam please. Also if pos a pic of the burner?
Thanks

I hope this is what you want.
note the width at the top is 15.01 mm, I bet I hit the seam or something so an even 15 would be correct.
106.29 mm
The burner is on the photo, the tray is exactly the length of an Esbit tablet.
