A question about STIAHi all, this question is mainly directed at Fred, but there might be someone who has already done it at STIA.
At the moment I will be going down to Leicester on sunday morning on my own, but I have a good friend of mine who has recently become very interested in steam models like ours and he wouldn't mind coming along with me to see what it's all about, but as he isn't a registered exhibitor he won't be allowed to come with me at the time before the place opens to the public so would it be possible that he could come with me to help me put out my engines before the place officially opens?
I'm really sorry that this is a bit last minute but it's the way it has happend this year and I will fully understand and respect you if you say no.

im sure it wont be a problem, but if it turns out he cant, i will be more than happy to keep your friend company whilst you set up. i am pretty sure the 7 1/4" guage railway will be in steam at abbey park just 10 mins walk away, so could take him there for a look at some bigger size engines. just let me know and ill go tomorrow and look if it will be running.
