Ey-up lad! You forgot me!

Congrats on getting that beast of yours going. And it might be an idea to put some insulation on the regulator
Either that or you should refine the dance you did when burning your fingers and call it:
'The Steamy Scald Shuffle'

Was great to see you lot there! Same again next year?

It's good that we're getting ourselves a reputation, these models are supposed to be fun and we're just prooving that! Even if it does require second degree burns every now and again

Anyway, off to bed, been on the road for over eight hours today, I think my partner has fallen asleep in the bath. And she says that since you forgot to put me on the list, she won't let the boards have the photo's she took! I'm sure I can convince her otherwise (secretly 'borrow' her camera that is   )
James

STIA is too short though

I was talking to Fred about it, and saying we could do one later in the year aswell, or you can come to Lincoln where me, Titan and Atticman will be, plus more!
James

Just noticed... 17 guests!!

Must have worked!

DLR

James

I'll have to take you up on that mate! Certainly!
MooseMan

That was an absolutely brilliant day! I can still hardly see because of all the meths fumes.

Great to meet so many of you, and an especially big thankyou to all the people who had kind words and encouragement after my recent spot of bother.....you know who you are.

I had the great honour of sending RocDoc's magnificent Seahawk of on its maiden voyage....what a performer! And my own little Snipe didn't do too badly either. John and Paul....I can't think of two better people to share a table with - definitely doing it again next year.

Pictures/footage tomorrow.
James

Moosey, we didn't talk much this year did we?
James

I think one of THE funniest moments of the day was when I fired the Fleischmann, and Sandy said:

"Jimbo's engine... with soooothing light"

For all people in other countries and that, there is an advert for an air freshener that says it has a sooothing light
MooseMan

James wrote:

Spent all day running around mate! Was great to see you though!
James

Aye and you! That Fleischmann made me eyes open a bit! I thought it was a box full of engines not just one

It's alright Nick, I found it.

I might recommend that James get a clipboard and have a sign up sheet where forum members who visit his display sign in so he has a full accounting of those who attended. James could be elsewhere when a member goes by and miss him/her.
Nick

James, who's SEL display was that, I think Les is after their lathe.
