alternative "pulley" to drive steam stuff.my dad got this from his dad ,just after World War 2, it's a thing to adjust the flaps of old aircraft- it has a groove in it- perfect for drive bands. size of wheel-just over 6cm across.
should work ok, after my dad seizes the bearing in the centre. Also, doesn't have a grub screw, so it'll go permanantly on my Wilesco lineshaft.

That'll give you some nice speed/torque options you'd not normally have.
I might do something similar with the old flywheel off my 25, though the groove on it is rather shallow. Suppose I could chuck it in a drill press and file it a bit deeper.
