DING DING DING......

We have a winner.... Les you nailed it.

I made it to fit a D-20 (or 16 or 18 ect)....sits right over the drip tray...slid on the exhaust pipe.

No engine mods needed.

Sounds neat if you load the engine down and open the regulator full open...

Video Tuesday night........

This is a more refined version of a idea I played with before...Only then I was using a small bit of aluminum tube with a small hole on one end.

Does it collect the exhaust or is it there for sound effects only?
Whatever, I want one.
Or at the least a drawing to copy, Jim!

Jim, that is brilliant...nicely made and from the looks of it should do the job well.  I assume it drains the condensate right into the usual red tray beneath?

Looking forward to seeing it in action.

I think one of those on a little traction engine, say, a Wilesco, would be really cool.
metalhead100

Rog you are right....Its got a 90 elbow in the bottom....tarp grommet for the top and any condensate goes right out the bottom into the red tray.

The rest of the exhaust goes right up.....and you do not have to empty the tray as much ...but it does tend to make a few droplets go airborne.

I was just bored.....

Brilliant!
The pipe looks like it's copper but that wouldn't make any difference in this case.
Is it soldered together?
I have several Wilescos that are missing their red trays.
I wonder how difficult it would be to form a shallow tray in copper and solder your pipe onto it?
So that the pipe collected the exhaust as well.
Those small red trays are not easy to empty without spilling.
Excuse my rambling, I'm just thinking aloud.
